After an Expedition Reset — First Week Checklist
What to do right after departing: rebuild order, stash discipline, buff stacks, and how to line up the next cycle without wasting early raids.
Reset day is disorienting by design. You keep account skeleton rewards; you re-earn Raider power. The first week is about clarity, not speed-running every quest line.
Day zero — confirm what stayed
- Skill points / stash slots / cosmetics — verify against the post-departure account UI.
- Temporary boosts — check whether your stacking buffs ticked forward; missing a window later can drop stacks (see rewards).
- Next expedition schedule — open countdown and in-game announcements together.
Days 1–3 — stabilize survival
- Rebuild one generalist kit (mid-range weapon, armor you can replace, meds).
- Re-learn one farming route you already know — consistency beats chasing new meta on patch week.
- Bank materials toward the next expedition’s early stages if signup is open — but do not vendor blindly; see what resets.
Days 4–7 — re-enter expedition mode (optional)
- If the next cycle is live, migrate from “survive” to “donation project management”: checklist, stash calculator, and Load Stage budget planner.
- If you are not expediting this month, still note signup dates so buff stacks do not surprise you later.
Mindset
Treat the first week as onboarding yourself again with a stronger account — not a race to recover every blueprint you had yesterday.
