ARC Raiders Expedition Rewards - Permanent, Temporary, and Catch-Up
Expedition rewards explained: damage-challenge skill points, stash space, cosmetics, stacking XP and Scrappy boosts, repair bonuses, and how catch-up skill points work after the April 17 Expedition 3 change.
Expedition rewards still break into two buckets: permanent account progress and temporary streak buffs. What changed on April 17, 2026 is the way Expedition 3 awards its five main skill points.
Verification note
This is a fan-site rewards guide. We updated it after the official A Triumphant Exit announcement on April 17, 2026, but the live Expedition panel is still the final authority for your account.
Permanent rewards
Permanent rewards stay on your account after the character reset. For Expedition 3, the current reward package is:
- Up to 5 skill points from the damage challenge
- +12 stash space
- Patchwork outfit (evolved) with the full third-Expedition unlock state
- Scrappy Turban
- Upgraded Expedition Indicator icon
This is a personal progression track. If a player is doing their first Expedition, they get the first Expedition reward tier, even if the community is talking about the third global window.
Temporary streak buffs
These buffs care about consecutive departures. Miss a window and the streak resets.
- XP boost: 5% -> 10% -> 15%
- Scrappy materials boost: 6% -> 12% -> 18%
- Repair value increase: 60% -> 70% -> 80%
These are total values, not additive bonuses on top of the previous step.
The new Expedition 3 skill-point rule
Expedition 3 no longer asks you to hoard stash value for the five main skill points. Instead:
- the Caravan still has to be completed,
- the window still has to be open,
- and the five main skill points now come from a damage challenge over that same 13-day window.
The challenge counts damage dealt with any weapon or gadget against any target, with the practice range explicitly excluded.
Current damage thresholds:
| Skill points earned | Damage required |
|---|---|
| 1 SP | 5,000 |
| 2 SP | 10,000 |
| 3 SP | 30,000 |
| 4 SP | 50,000 |
| 5 SP | 100,000 |
That means the main player question has changed from “am I at 3 million yet?” to “am I signed up, and can I actually clear the damage requirement before the cutoff?”
Catch-up still uses stash value
Catch-up did not disappear. It just moved into a cleaner place:
- it only matters for players on their second or third Expedition,
- it only unlocks after the damage challenge is complete,
- and it still costs 300,000 coins or stash value per skill point,
- with up to 5 points per catch-up block.
So stash value is still relevant, but it is now a secondary reward layer, not the main Expedition 3 skill-point track.
Last Call
The new Last Call feature is a safety net for one specific failure case: you completed the Caravan, but you forgot to sign up during the 13-day window.
If that happens, the next time you log in, the game can offer a final chance to depart. That is useful for preserving the reset and the permanent non-skill-point rewards, but there is a real tradeoff:
- Last Call does not require the damage challenge
- and Last Call does not award the damage-based skill points
Treat it as a recovery valve, not the main plan.
Practical planning
If you are deciding whether Expedition 3 is worth the reset, split the reward logic into three questions:
- Can you finish the Caravan and Load Stage?
- Can you sign up and finish the damage challenge during the live window?
- If you qualify for catch-up, do you also have enough stash value to buy the retro points afterward?
That is the cleanest way to avoid mixing the old rule set with the new one.
