Expedition Catch-Up Skill Points
How ARC Raiders catch-up skill points work after the April 17 Expedition 3 change: who qualifies, why the damage challenge comes first, and where stash value still matters.
Catch-up is still part of Expedition planning, but the April 17 patch changed the order of operations.
The clean version
For current Expedition 3, catch-up works like this:
- complete the Caravan,
- sign up during the live window,
- finish the damage challenge for the current Expedition’s main five skill points,
- then use catch-up if your account qualifies.
So stash value is still relevant, just not for the first five points.
Current catch-up rule
The live rule mirrored on this site is:
- 300,000 coins or stash value per skill point
- up to 5 points per catch-up block
- only for players on their second or third Expedition
- only after the damage challenge is complete
This is why the stash tools on the site are still useful, but in a much narrower way than before.
Who should care
Catch-up matters most if:
- you completed an earlier Expedition but did not cap all five points,
- your account is already on its second or third Expedition tier,
- and you want to recover missed progression without waiting for future redesigns.
It is not a universal rescue system for every skipped cycle.
