Is ARC Raiders Expedition Worth It?
Honest pros and cons of departing on an ARC Raiders Expedition - skill points, stash slots, cosmetics, buffs, and everything you lose on reset so you can decide before the window closes.
There is still no universal yes or no. Expedition is a trade: you give up most of your current Raider power for permanent account upgrades and rotating buffs if you stay on cadence.
Why the answer changed a little on April 17
The April 17 Expedition 3 patch made one huge difference: the main five skill points are no longer tied to stash value.
That makes the decision a little healthier for normal players. Instead of asking “can I protect 3 million stash value until the cutoff?” the better question is now “can I finish the Caravan, sign up on time, and actually clear the damage challenge during the live window?”
Reasons players still say yes

- +12 more stash slots,
- evolved cosmetics and indicator upgrades,
- stronger consecutive buffs,
- and a more active final week instead of pure stash hoarding.
Reasons players still say not this time
- you are deeply attached to your current kits, stash, or workshop state,
- your squad is split on timing,
- you do not have enough real play sessions to finish both the Caravan and the challenge,
- or you simply do not enjoy rebuild-style progression.
